Create Report painter with Z Fields not Avaiable in CCSS

Hi!, we want modify one Report Painter. We want to add BLDAT (field of
COOI) like a charasteristic filter in the report.

I have read the SAP Note 929889 and I could add the field BLDAT like
filter in column "COmmitments" but when I run the report, this column is showed empty.

I have followed the nex steps:

a) Called SE11, enter "CCR1S" as the object name and choose
the function "Change".

b) Then double-click on the INCLUDE structure CI_CC1S and
confirm the creation of the structure CI_CC1S.

c) Now enter the new fields in the INCLUDE structure CI_CC1Sof structure CCR1S: 'ZBLDAT' Like type "BLDAT" and activated it.

d) Entered in GRCT and add a new entry:
. 'CCSS' in the field "Table".
. 'ZBLDAT' in the field "Field name".

e) I went to GR22 and modify GP3 library, pressed in Characteristicand check the new "ZBLDAT".

f) Report Writer -> Variable -> Create
. CCSS in Table
. ZBLDAT in Field Name
. VALUE in Variable Type
. 31.12.2999 in Default Value

g) I opened GRR2 and created a "Z" report of 6PP1-001 report.

h) Double click in "Commitments". Added avaiable
characteristic "Document Date"(ZBLDAT), from "01.01.1900" To ZBLDAT
(variable). Save and execute

i) Now, in the report I can see the new variable Filter
ZBLDAT with 31.12.2999 like default value.

But when I ran the report, the column "Commitments" is allways empty.


I have readed a lot of information in internet, manuals and sap notes,
but at the moment we can't do this work.

Any information would be appreciated

i think document date is hardly to use in report paint of 6PP1, you can try to included z-field in gr22,but i think it's hard to run. my solution for this is try to create Query for it from table COEP,or do abap for it.

Not the same field

But, in table COES only is available the field DABRZ "Reference Date" and I need filter by the field BLDAT "Document Date" of table COOI.
